I say we all move to EU and leave everyone else scratching their heads as to why forcing them to change the way our animals are treated. Then when they come to respect life rather than profit from non-humans, we move back. People tried to save money by doing things like cage rearing and debeaking and pumping antibiotics into the animals, and when it's failed we're slowly shifting back to an ethical system again. So why be so greedy and selfish in the first place??? It failed, and made matter worse! We've now got a terrible and cruel track record, and we look uneducated, and we've failed ourselves with all these AMR bacteria popping up left right and centre!
