One of the things I believe in strongly is the power of working together. After all, there is just so much to do that we couldn’t possibly achieve an end to factory farming by our efforts alone. That is why I place great store by reaching out and developing partnerships with like minded organisations. I am therefore delighted to announce our partnership with the newly formed Sustainable Food Trust (SFT).
Founded by Patrick Holden, former director of the Soil Association and a good friend of ours, SFT is a new international organisation bringing together all those who share an interest in developing a better, more sustainable food system.
Patrick is a pioneering farmer and his leadership is a huge asset to the movement for a food system that is kind, caring and honest. It is a privilege that Patrick approached us at Compassion in World Farming to join as a founding partner of the SFT. We look forward to working closely together over the months and years ahead.
