We can feed the world without factory farming and end needless cruelty toward animals. Unfortunately, some policy makers still believe that more factory farming is the way forward. They’re wrong. Reports from two leading academic institutes (ISE and PIK) show that we can keep animals free-range and feed the world. We need to move into a future where we eat better meat and have animals in better conditions. Our biggest challenge is to feed our growing population humanely and sustainably. As consumers we must go beyond factory farming.
